I made the decision earlier this year when I had the TCC replaced on my GP - once I did that it was all in for repairs. Had to have Tranny rebuilt, oil pan gasket replaced, and the steering fixed. I still have a LCA that's bad, and I'll need to get it fixed as soon as I get the $1000 I'm owed from newspapers. I'll also have to have a tire replaced because of that. Intake manifolds and radiator next, then it's good as new!Quote:

I replace or repair what I know I can, otherwise I have a shop do it. Some of it I just don't have the time to do myself, so I have to outsource it. :) But the radiator and LIM I know I can do myself or with friends, or even have the Jeff who did my tranny do them as he'll be cheaper than the shop I've had to other stuff. The shop is closer, within bicycle distance. Jeff is 30+ miles away, and I don't want to bike to and from there!Quote:
