Washed it and amazed myself with how good it looks even without fresh wax. :)
so did you break the gpo's or did you get them like that or what?

next im gonna mix up some fiberglass resin then rap fiberglass mat around the wire once dry it should be pretty stiff. then im gonna mix up some fiberglass filler and spread it around the area, then move to body filler and putty coat if needed. of course the sanding process will be involved in between. this is just a quick idea of how im doing it you'll see keep posted in my ride thread and you can see how ill do it. you probably haven't seen it done before because most people dont have broken GPO's and if they do they probably still have the other piece that broke off so they can put it back together. i dont have the other piece so i have to customize :th_thumbsup-wink:

nah shouldn't be to hard, well for me atleast body works my thing i dont mind it. i dont think there plastic i think there like sheet molded compound or something
Changed the S/C oil. Old oil looked cleaner at 155k than the oil in the 05 did at like 90k. Maybe a previous owner actually took the time to change it!?
I think I ripped a hole in the sewer pipe ubend that SSAC puts on their headers. I guess when the IC install is done ill put it up on the lift cut out the ubend and weld in new pipe.

put some more work in on my GPO's finally starting to look like something!
wrapped fiberglass mat and resin around the wire once stuff i scuffed it up with 40 grit

then mixed some fiberglass filler and after used some body filler still have more to go (and no i didn't layer a bunch of filler on them lol)

Drove it, again. Was going to put my Diode Dynamics sticker in the window, but didn't. Set my roof rails on there but decided (for like the 10th time) that pearl on white doesn't look good lol.
Well make them black already! Or white..
probably going black lol not sure if im even gonna like them on my car, might be to much black for me who knows we'll see
