It's not the taking mirrors apart that scares me. It's finding the right wires and splicing into things that gets me.

Trans pan is about as invasive as I've gotten.
you've proven yourself to be handy with your cars, this is a easy thing. running a few wires from the doors to the dash is easy to do.
finding the right parts i think would be the challenge. research wise. you need to find out what other car has mirrors shaped like the gp and steal its heating pad.
I think I read somewhere that Ford windstar mirrors fit. But that was the.mirror itself and not just glass I think. Just turns also. But I could be wrong. And I try to be handy, especially if I can save some money on labor. Makes me feel good too.
I know it wouldn't fit "perfectly" but a regal would be close enough I think to heat up almost all if not all of the mirror surface... thoughts?Quote:
