Today I finished painting the engine bay, and did the front calipers.

Did you take your calipers off completely to do that? Like brake line and all?
No, I'm not that brave. I just used a lot of newspaper and tape and an x-acto knife.
It's got some flaws where the tape overhung a little when i laid the purple down, but you can't see unless really looking at the caliper with wheel off.
What did you clean the calipers with?
Brake cleaner and a wire brush. Surprisingly they weren't to bad.
Looks like u need another coat. Did u let it completely dry then wipe it off with a rag then paint? Looks okay.

Yes I did wipe it down before I painted. It's got 4 coats of ground, 4 coats of color, and 3 clear. The flash from camera made the spots.
It looks great in person.
yes danielle, its so difficult to unbolt brake calipers. :P
