in the fuse box under the hood, pull the relay for the a/c. i do this every winter. i see no reason for the compressor to spin in winter.
although i know why its working, i just dont care to waste mpg on it during the winter. and i see no difference one way or the other heat wise or defrosting wise.
i know, i see no difference either way, the defroster still works the same with or with out it, same for the heat. the way i see it is theres no reason for the compressor to turn all winter. and it does with all heat settings.
Right. It runs the air through the heated heater core, and the cold evaporator. Just their way of making it into a heater and de-humidifier. I'd probably turn it off too.
I forgot how much of a ***** it is to get our batteries back in. Did that and rotated my tires.
Changed the wheel bearing on my aunts van then cleaned the tb because she complained of hard starts and having to give it has to start
put new wires on and the car starts up and goes like 500 rpms higher when it starts than normal and tends to go rum rum rum rum when idling until i give it some gas and its warmed up.. all after i put new plug wires on
you broke a vac line.^^^^^^my guess is the evap line that runs off the TB to the back of the engine.
im gonna go check, man it never ends does it...

Sooooo had my parents drop my car off at the transmission shop and forgot to go in and let them know it was there so now I get to call them and hunt my car down cuz it got towed and and have it towed back there and shell out even more money all because I'm too dumb to remember to get up and get my **** done. Welp sucks to be me lol. Oh well as long as I get it done. I keep having thoughts of scrapping it and then more thoughts on the fact that thats my only vehicle and I'm tired of driving the spare vehicle around... I gotta get my **** together and write myself notes or something

this line closest to the camera. leads to one side of the evap solenoid, the other line leads to the evap ball in the fender. if your missing the other sides vac line look down on the exhaust manifold back there thats were mine fell to and hiding on me when i did my lim job.
