Just wondering what the average mileage is with everyone's cars? My dic is 21.7-22mpg city driving and driving with a light foot.. and how many miles do u guys get out of a full tank? I get around 310 miles, but when I fill up, my range is around 375-380.

I average about the same as you with a GT. Not sure how many miles Ive pulled out of a full tank. Dont remember what it was off hand.

Right now, I'm sitting at 320 with still a bit over 1/4 tank left. Lately its been getting really good MPG's. I can normally get 23-24 (27+ pure highway) out of it doing mostly rural driving. And I'm pretty light on the pedal. Overall, your numbers are very close to my GT's.
I did run some sea foam thru just the gas tank and it did seem to help a little bit.

I will be running sea foam and doing a tune up soon. And I have a bad 02 sensor so a new one is on its way.. the most I've ever got out a full tank was like 325.. I'm usually at 150miles at half tank

I'm right along with you Danielle, that's one of the reasons I joined, to get an idea if what I'm getting is close to average or possibly better. Pleased to meet you all!

Sounds about normal. I keep track of all my miles i get out a tank and figure my MPG's against the DIC (which actually seems to be pretty dead on).
When I got my car, it'd had a new to it motor put in about a year prior. I'm sitting at 105k miles now so theoretically it's due for new plugs/flushes and all that good stuff. But, I'm not sure if all that was replaced when they swapped engines.
Can't hurt to do it anyways.

Yeah it def wouldn't hurt. Im replacing the fuel filter as well and will run seafoam thru gas tank, oil, and vacuum lines. Hoping to smooth out my idle a bit and get back some mpg's.. Also a ubend delete to free up the exhaust more

I'm sorry, new Grand Prix owner, wondering what engine has the ubend. Thanks.

Never hurts. When I bought mine they told me they had did a tune up and flushes ect. Checked plugs and wires and trans fluid, all were bad or old. So I ended up doing it all. MPG didnt go up though.

I'm going to sticky this so no one makes this exact thread over and over again.

Right now I'm getting 17.4 MPG city only because I'm being nice to it.

I can get that number quite a bit lower if I tried.

    Like 15-16 mpgs lol.

I drive it maybe 7 miles a day when I do drive it. I can get around 225ish to a tank most of the time, but if I drive it lighty around town I can get 18-19ish mpgs which is pretty good IMO. I'm sure I'll chime in later to say what I'm getting for mpgs later on.

The '01 has dropped off a good bit in the last 6 months- Was at 22.7 city, now it's between 17.9-18.5 by the DIC. Beats the isht outta me.

Temperature change...then again...if that was the case it should be doing BETTER, not worse.

Mine went up on this last mod install, I did the SSIC, ported SC, TB and LIM at the same time and now it's 20-22 mpg city driving and 35+ highway with a very light foot. It was doing way worse before I installed those. I still haven't figured out why the MPG improved so much with those parts.

My non Intercooler 3.4 with headers got 28-30 highway. Port and polished supercharger and polished what I could easily reach in lim and got a constant 32-36 highway . . . Must be porting the blower that helps somehow

lol, porting a blower does nothing.

You probably fixed a vacuum leak.
