This was pulled at 0-10 degrees Celsius, I took the pic as soon as the low gas warning went off.

converted to miles it is 500 miles, 90% highway going 100-110 km/h tops

I drive my car pretty hard. I'm gettig like 16 in the city, and around 25 on the highway driving to work. But that's not bad considering EPA ratings are 18/25 for the GTP
Took the Comp G to Milwaukee yesterday. I got 31 by the time I got to Madison. The whole round trip of 285 miles I averaged 30.0. Not too bad.
Like I said above, I'm only getting 23.5 hwy. Wonder if it would increase if I put in new plugs? Can't remember when I changed them.
about 15.
i thought 4 cylinders were supposed to get better gas mileage.
:D
Why do I read some people get 20-28 mpg and I only get 17..im new to my grand prix ive had it since wednesday.. is there any way I can improve mpg?
a proper tune up and a lighter foot :)
In town my mileage is SH!T, but since I have done my LIM gaskets, the trip between Fort Hood, TX and Fort Polk, LA (336 miles) has gotten better. Before the LIM gaskets I was averaging 25-27 MPG after LIM gaskets and new vacuum hoses I get 29-30mpg on the same trip.
Concord NH to Bangor ME last Sunday. I took back roads from Concord to Portland (not 101, thats a highway), then highway to Bangor. The trip was 248 miles and I used 8.3 gallons. That averages to 29.87 MPG. Thats really not bad for winter formula, off brand gasoline, considering my car is rated for 28 highway, and I usually set cruise at 72-75.
Best ive done is 32MPG this past summer. I was headed from Bangor to Boston and it was 97 outside, I was not using AC, the AC made the engine run a little hot for my comfort.
Yeah, don't reef on it. Smooth steady acceleration will improve your mileage. If you find your transmission dropping a gear and revving, you are accelerating too hard. Also, the theory that going over 55 kills mpg is bunk. I get the best mileage with the cruise between 69 and 75.
What engine do you have? The 5.3 V8 will have worse mileage than the 3.8 or in older GP's the 3.1/3.4
Mine confuses the heck outa me I'm supposed to have a 18 gal tank but when I hi 1/4 yank it takes 10 gal to fill it up I'm getting 180 mi at that point
wohoo 11 city and 18 hwy thanks 65lb injectors and lq4 misfires
The best I ever got was 572 km on 40 litres all highway, works out to about 40mpg. Now at 150,000km the best I can get is about 34-36 mpg all highway.
17.5mpg avg on E-85, 19.5 on 93.
put an open cone on and can't get enough of that whine, so i'm lucky to see 18 normally, but 31 on the interstate cruising at 70, BOOYAH
2003 GTP, 110k miles does 18 city and 30ish highway. Driving home from Platteville towards Milwaukee, through Madison, got me 25.5 DIC reading with stupid amounts of snow, wind, 30 degree weather, 4 eagle 077 rims w/tires, and all my stuff from school. Oh and my tires were rather under inflated. Oops. As a note, US 151 is NOT a flat road lol.
I love my GP =)
