I might have missed something here, but in reading the original post and all the suggestions, no one mentioned the most basic and simple instruction. Push the tall skinny pedal to the floor rapidly.

If you don't have enough torque to do one on drive pavement you fail.

just find a nice flat backroad with a 90 degree corner and a little banking and just throw it sideways at like 45ish. and then don't **** yourself when the front tires don't hook up haha. you'll have smoke, trust me

here is an easy way to get them to rip without using oil or whatever. eagle f1 tire shine, spray a little on treads. put on e-brake, then roll with it and watch the smoke billow off the wheels. and yes, keep it in second! and have fun. i seen soooo much smoke coming off the first time i did it and thought i blew out my radiator...then the base cops came after we already left our black marks...some neighbor behind our base said it was a motorcycle...golden!!

I've done that in my old Grand AM. Works pretty good and i didn't damage anything...well may be the tires a bit.

well i just use D and mash e brake down with tc off and enjoy the smell of rubber. and i thought this thread was made to show peolpe how to do a burnout. like really its not hard pull up to the wet box and e brake and get tires to spin and ease off the throttle dont come off completely it shocks the transmission then you stage, last yellow light comes on you go(foot on the brake and other on the gas let the brake go) and try your hardest to not break tires while hitting the gas. and when your losing hit the go baby go button lol
