Hi, if this is the wrong area please let me know where to redirect. I am new here. I have an 05 Grand Prix GXP. I have this radio issue I've been dealing with. Its not worked in months. And I decided to disconnect the battery completely and it needed a charge. (Sitting awhile & not looking forward to replacing it) So I charged it let it sit for a week or so. Then today checked on the battery reconnected it and car starts find and letting it run a few minutes before taking it on a ride. I get in hit the radio button. I was like Grrrr! So I go in to get a bottle of water and I come out and the is radio playing. So took a nice hour drive and come home and park on the drive shut down and go about 45mins later start the car to put it away. no radio. I noticed the clock was not showing when I got in before start up. After the car starts no radio or clock. And I notice no door chime either as I got in, (key in the ignition)
Radio is factory unit "Monsoon" with multi disc cd player. I checked all the underhood fuses before reconnecting the battery all checked ok, I checked a week ago the fuses in the passenger side fuse box all ok including the radio fuse. It is unmodified has me scratching my head
Any ideas?
