Waiting for a blower motor resistor to get here Thursday, speed one is out, speed 2 is out, 3rd. and 4th. speed work. But high is out too. I am pretty sure the resistor will fix the lower speeds, but I understand high speed bypasses the resistor.
Fuse HVAC HI has poser both sides. Fuse DIC/HVAC has power both sides.
Fuse HVAC control has power both sides.

I have seen reference several times, to a blower motor relay, contained in the blower motor resistor.
Could the relay built into the blower motor resistor control the high blower speed and be bad also?
According to a few wiring diagrams I have seen, they do show the high speed blower motor voltage going through a resistor.
Has anyone seen the blower motor resistor replacement also solve the issue of no high speed blower motor operation?
    Thanks guys.

    Sorry, not resistor.

According to a few wiring diagrams I have seen, they do show the high speed blower motor voltage going through a RELAY.

Unplug resistor and test as follows.

    First check all fuses.

Unplug resistor, test plug as follows, should have B+ at each wire as shown below.
    1-5 = blower speeds.

    1. Yellow for low.
    2. Tan for medium low.
    3. Light blue for medium
    4. Purple for medium high.
    5. Orange for high speed.

    Heavy red wire far left
B+ full time, regardless of position of blower control switch.

So if you're having trouble with your blower motor speeds, test the 7 terminal plug (unplugged) as shown above, (after testing all 3 fuses for power)
I now have all 5 speeds,
so even though they say high blower speed bypasses the resistor, Hi must still go through the relay contained in the resistor.
