A 40th came into a local u pull place a couple of days ago, and I went out to look at it this morning. The vents look cracked, like something sat on them, but they are all there. The interior is pretty trashed, at least in the front, and the ODO has over 300k on it, so I'm pretty sure nobody wants the cluster either.
I'm going back tomorrow to pull the exhaust tips off. I would have gotten them today, but ran into an issue, hence this post. The nut on one of the U-bolts that holds the tips on snapped off from the rust on it, and I'd imagine the other side is at least as bad. Being a u- pull, they don't allow torches, grinders or sawzalls, so I need to figure out how to get the tips off without mangling them (Just the tip). Any brilliant ideas? Or non Brilliant ones that will still work?
Also, the roof rails are still there, if someone wants them for probably less than what most people ask for them and can tell me how to get them off without damage, let me know. I have no need for them.
