My 2008 GP always had issues with leaky-power steering. I’d top it off every few weeks. Then I bought the kind that supposedly stops leaks and for a month or two it worked great. Yesterday I’m pulling out of my job and the wheel was very hard to turn. I checked the fluid and filled it because it looked low and I made it home. Now I go to start my car this morning and the wheel won’t turn at all. The reservoir is full and I don’t see any leaks. But the wheel is super stiff and very noisy. I’m thinking it’s either the power steering pump or the rack and pinion. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Any idea what the cost would be for a replacement power steering pump or a rack and pinion?
