    make sure the vac line to it is not broken. comes form the nipple under the snout.

    thats fine, what you see there is whats left of the foam cap. its fallen apart over time. its fine to be just open like that.

    the vac line on the other side of it needs to be there.

    Most likely the soleniod finally kicked. That piece with the foam on it. Either that or the wiring from pcm to that piece is bad.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
