My 2004 grand prix cluster doesnt turn on, after driving for 5 min it will turn on and some times off again. There is no crank on 1st attempt on starting, turn the key off and it starts 2nd time. I changed ignition switch, battery and alt are good. The hot wire on the cluster harness gets 12.4 volts and the switched wire when i turn the key on is only 6.3 volts. All grounds are good. What else can i check? Thank you for help.

dOES EVERYTHING FAIL OR JUST THE DIGITAL DISPLAY?
If just the digital there are couple resistors that fell off the board, google replacing display resistors on youtube. Cast me a pack of resistors 220 ohm if I remember and about 1hr, if whole dash fails might be a cracked pc board.

Ok so I missed you year. I have 04 also. When I get to work I'll dig up diagram and take a look. But sounds like power issue at first but don't hold me to that.
