I have a 2002 gp gt 4 door, when at 60mph I'm revving about 2k and on hwy about 2500, anyone know what it might be?

you lost over dive, aka the 4 th gear hub.

if you get in the hwy and pull it into 3 rd and the rpms stay the same, you just confirmed it.

    Word.

    4th gear with 2.93 is about 1900-2000 and with 3.29's it's like 2300ish doing about 68-70mph.

If it shifts into every gear and does change rpm when you pull it back down into 3rd, something else is way wrong.

Like internal transmission failure, major slipping or something.

The most likely cause was said, if the 4th gear hub is gone. RPM at 60mph in 4th gear should not be 2500rpm, should be 500-600 less than that.

I third that. It's your 4th gear. Sucks to get to, but if you want to be cheap, you can access it through the wheel well with subframe dropped. I really do not recommend this due to 1) contamination and 2) if you're doing that much work, might as well rebuild your transmission while you're there. It's really not that bad. Just did mine.

It's the 4th hub. Search on my name and 4th hub shaft or something like that. It's not a horrible fix.
