So i'm wanting to drive really really fast and need to know when cops ar..... Kidding- and yes I know that's not quite how that works and that the term for what my joke is about is radar detector not scanner. now that you've red through my long winded joke explanation to a dumb joke....

I don't trust Amazon reviews anymore... but you guys seem decent

Also... I was looking at some gauges and realizing that all the nice ones... aeroforce etc are hella expensive... cheaper good options? I don't need crazy fancy. just boost and KR maybe etc.

    You guys ate great.

The andriod one seems to work for many people with the torque app but there are better handheld ODB2 scanners out there. If wanted one that can read abs codes and airbag codes you are going to need to spend around $100 for one of those.

If you don't want to buy an aeroforce just buy a scangauge 2, it's less money and reads tons of parameters. The only downside is that it's a square/rectangle gauge and not round to fit into a gauge pod.

I have a bluedriver and it works great for the newer cars that I scan, but in my '97 GTP it really just comes up with ECU codes. It does work well, though.

Get your self a Tech 2 if you want a good scanner. Got a knock off one on Ali Express. Reads all your codes, does live data display and snapshots. Also can bleed your brakes for you and a couple other things. Best tool I have got. Rrally handy when diagnosing problems

Any other genric scanner will give you live data for some things and read ecu codes. Not much else for the 50 or less price range.

I use the torque app and a Bluetooth obd 2 adaptor from amazon, make sure you get one that's compatible with gm protocol or whatever it's called.
