I just bought a 1999 grand Prix with leaking brake (knowingly) and its leaking from what looks like a 3 inch diameter black rubber hose going into the firewall.
What is it? And whats the part number? Thanks for the help.

    Pictures?

Brake lines are metal, not rubber up by the master cylinder. The only rubber is at the brake hoses by the knuckle and the rubber vacuum line for the booster.

im willing to bet this is leak by the front sub frame and its spraying onto the racks boot into the firewall, cause theres nothing else that meets his story.

i just bought new brake lines off ebay, also got fuel lines, cause they all run with each other under the car. and they all look like hell and have been patched twice already.

It looks like its gushing directly front the rubber boot, but I was a bit confused knowing there shouldn't be anything that big in the braking system. The rubber hose is right underneath the brake booster.
I've been trying to upload a picture but can't, do you have to link them?

you have 3-4 brake lines running down the fire wall past that boot then under the car.

you need to get the car in the air, jack stands work, then have someone pump the brakes while you watch for the leak to leak or spray out, then fix that line.
