Oh dear God! I'm trying not to blow my stack here. I was a cheap ass and got new key fobs from Amazon and used the little program box that plugs into the ODB port. Now I have the weirdest things going on. Sometimes the lights will stay on when you lock the car. They go on when you open the door. Get low battery warnings randomly. What doesn't help is I exasperated the problem by changing out the factory to a kenwood with the module adapter. I'm not thinking that the module has anything to do with it since it was doing weird crap before the stereo change out. Got the stereo install kit from Crutchfield.
Anyone have any suggestions? I love my pontiac but this is wanting me to see just what a binary explosive can do.

2007 GP. Standard 3800 N/A. No weird mods or anything. Just stock with monsoon system (kinda). Not S/C.

I'd just unplug the radio from the harness for troubleshooting. Were you having any intermittent problems before the key fob?

A failing multifunction switch can mess up the lights, but I have no idea about the fob. I dunno if it works with the Body Control Module or what.
