    Hi guys,
Hopefully you can guide me In the right direction, I snagged a set of offset poly square bushings from a member on here, got them installed (required cutting the factory bushings out) now the vibration is something I'm ok With, infact it seems to have gotten a little less the last few times I drove the car (breaking in a bit maybe?) But the real issue/annoyance is that the factory round bushings on the dog bones have a ton of play in them now and clank under acceleration and especially when I put the car in park and come off the brake, I verified the noise I'm hearing is coming from those round bushings by grabbing the dog bones and shaking them and sure enough they clank around something terrible. Is there any solution to this outside finding some of the round poly bushings? Seems it's the bolt and metal insert in the factory bushings has some room inside to allow them to collide, could a guy maybe wrap some electrical tape around the bolt to make a tighter fit and cushion it a bit? Or is this just too ghetto? Thanks in advance guys.

You can buy new dogbones with new bushings in them off ebay for less than $20 shipped for the set. That's what I'd do, I had the poly round bushings and squares, and the nvh was too much for me. Adding poly rounds changes it entirely.

I would just put in the poly bushing.

All my mounts are solid and the vibration isn't that bad. Maybe I'm used to it but no passenger has mentioned it either.

Yeah I'll have to get them, I tried the tape to cushion thing and it works a bit but there is still alot of play.

Looks like the offset poly mounts are passing the torque to the weaker rubber bushings and wearing them out.
Worst vibes will be at idle. Accelerate and they are non existent

Yeah, I'll bite the bullet and get them. I'll admit it was well worth the squares seems I get alot less wheel spin, maybe the wider stance from my pregens helped that too, I dunno, my whole car is just a placebo. Everything to make me feel like it's faster, but I bet gt to gt I would probably tie lol

This is true, and only while in gear and stopped, in park I feel nothing also.

Lube them with poly lube. It helps in many ways

Lol I had to modify the lip on one of them to get it to slide all the way in but there is probably a mm gap in there, I can move them a itty bit.

Yes. That's what I did too. You have my 3rd set I believe. I bought them all whenever someone posted them. I never had a chance to own a set new.

But the lube helps install but also protects the poly and prevents creaking

Well I really appreciate you coming off a set for me, they really did change it night and day to me anyways, Its been crazy nice here all week (upper 60's) and I was able to go out yesterday and time consistent mid 6 second runs to 60 and that's with me (overweight) and a overweight passenger in the car lol that's nothing to really shake a stick at but when stock they come in just under 8 seconds I'd say it's an improvement with my mods anyway :/

Yeah you guys are getting pounded huh. It went from teens and 20's straight to 60's in a day. But it won't last, it's still February in MN so we will get back to snow and cold atleast one more time before spring.

Well I should clarify. The roads are salted as fck but 50s out. Drive with the windows down and you're thirsty after 10 miles haha

Lol they even pulled out sweepers over the weekend to take up dirt and salt here and rain tonight and tomorrow will wash the rest away, I managed to put 20 miles on her and return home still clean lol. Of course I was all 3 vehicles atleast twice a week, I'm not a fan of rust. And finding a wbody like mine in MN is rare.
