Hi all I have a question about remote start. have a 2008 gp with new fobs that were programed recently. I had a check engine light I resolved so the fobs would start the car. here's the thing. the car will start with the fob however if you hit that same button to stop the car it then disables the remote start. you even see that up on the display on the I/p. once you then start and stop it with the key that resets it and will work again. I haven't let it run its cycle and try to remote start it again to see if I get a second chance at it. I thought that most if not all cars gives you 2 chances to start with the fob regardless how the car is shut of the first time. is this normal on this vehicle?
