    Heyyo,

I am thinking about sometime in the future getting a scrap car for my 2005 GXP. Just for fun. I was wondering do you guys suggest any salvage websites? Yes, I did google them and searched on a bunch but none of them are really detailed and I couldn't find any 05 GXP. Which brings me to my other question, what is the year gap that I can interchange parts for? I don't think I am asking that correctly but hopefully you understand.

    I appreciate the efforts!

Technically any GXP part that fit a 2005 will fit on a 2006-2008 GXP. There might be a select few parts that were changed/updated between the years but that's really it.

Not exactly sure what parts you are wanting so I can't comment further.

Currently, it would only be interior pieces. But like I was saying, it would mainly be for the future and not right away. Thanks for the response!

    http://www.car-part.com/mobile/index.htm

The website does the interchange for you. It uses the Hollander Interchange which is highly recommended and accurate.

The A-pillars and headliner may or may not be different from 05 and 06-08 depending upon whether the vehicle was equipped with curtain airbags. Besides that everything should be interchangeable.

Keeping a parts car is kind of a hassle.

Most interior parts are the same for 3800 and 5.3 cars.
