So, my 00GTP has a Borla exhaust and I like the look of it but not the sound.

Specifically, it drones pretty badly and is overly intrusive in the otherwise fairly quiet cockpit.

Has anyone wrapped theirs with Dynamat or anything?

Its just getting to the point that I'd like it to be quieter, gaskets are all good, no holes in it or anything.

Is is there a way to keep the dr in out of the cabin?

Install a second resonator to stop the drone.

I prefer the vibrant ultra quiet resonator as they work awesome as removing drone. I installed on one of my pervious trucks with a offroad y-pipe (no cats) and a magnaflow muffler. It had so much rasp and pop along with drone before I installed the resonator before the muffler, it took away all the rasp/drone.

Hero, does your kit have resonator?

I installed Borla mufflers and had no resonator. Brutal drone. Installed a factory resonator and the drone is almost gone and driving is much more enjoyable.

Is this the actual Borla cat-back or a custom exhaust set up that used borla mufflers?

I have had the borla cat back for years and drive my car daily. No complaints on the drone form it. This is what I have

It's the Borla catback. Perhaps the difference is in how we each tolerate/ perceive the noise.

If you have a resonator, I could buy that logic. If you don't, get one.

The drone is brain wobbling loud and annoying.
