it sound like he didn't bleed the system properly. don't add anymore to the overflow tank like said above. leave the cap off of the radiator and let run for a while keeping an eye on the level in the radiator. If you have a pair of pliers in your car open the bleeder screw until it does not surge out air.
also like Scottydoggs said there was no reason to remove the radiator to do a transmission line.
The line is getting close to the red, and when I started filling it started over flowing and starting coming out
He said he had to remove it because the end was fitting into the radiator or something
Shut it down for 15-20 minutes and leave the cap off. when it cools off a bit restart the process. You really should try to open that bleeder.
Holy crap. Fill it from the rad, forget that dumb tank is even there please.
At a shop now. He said the hose collapsed and I need a new thermostat
hose collapsed cause theres no coolant in the damn thing.

Hes not in a shop. He's my step pops friend. He's replaced transmissions before. Said he's been working on cars since he was 14. He's 60 now
time to re think if hes any good or not dont ya think?
W bodies have their quirks, but he shouldn't be this bad at working on one, they're everywhere. Lol
