Hey, anybody know of a Spoiler that'll lay flush with a 00' Regal trunk? Nothing exotic, but descrete and sleak would be great. I've seen some regals with spoilers from SLP etc. But I can't find any.
Any ideas or links would be Cool....

Billboost had one. A very discrete lip spoiler. He will chime in on it in the morning.
this a stage 3 regal gtx. that spoiler is stock. how or where to get one, i dont know. wish i got more pics of this car, it was super clean and mint inside and out.

both spoilers are nice, but the white one is a lil less loud while still effective which is exactly what I want. now I just have to find them. Ebay sells some that you supposedly just peel and stick(flexible) but im not a fan of this...I can see me 5yrs down the road where the glue starts to age and while on the hwy the damn thing just flies off. nice pics, just gotta find one now....but good that I have a reference to look at
FWIW I've tested that ebay glue to 120+ mph.. it's standard 3M tape. Same stuff they use on ventvisors and body molding pieces.
Cool so the tape works but are those flexible spoilers from eBay really durable/worth it? I just don't see a flexible spoiler catching air for down force as Well as a more concrete solid spoiler would.....
my spoiler is held on with 3 m tape. (on each side about 3 inches by 4 tops of tape) its held well for almost 2 years now. this summer im going to make a template and drill the holes and bolt it on cause it did start to lift a bit in the front now. now that is cold its solid again and dont move at all.
i cant see any spoiler on any car doing a thing till over a 100 mph. its all looks in the end.
it sits closer to the edge of the trunk, this is a dry test shot.

Looks good though, I would definitely do the bolt on bc im sure that would be much more durable especially in the long run. Drilling holes in my car is what bothers me though, lol
yeah, I primarily want it for looks (to me its my finishing touch on these cars along with dual exhaust tips) but any down force if any at all would just be extra(but ill definitely put it to use). Who sells those low profile spoilers like the one on the white regal??? Websites/Links if any....
3M tape is strong stuff. No need to worry about it flying off.
Dee, I have an easier fix to this.. you seem to like my car. Why not buy it from me, let's say $5000?

You'll be surprised how many spoilers you see that's attached to a trunk lid that's held on just by 3m tape as opposed to the old bolt and but method. Personally I like the 3m for the fact that if you ever decide to remove the spoiler you don't have to worry about covering up the holes. If the surface is clean and prepped right double side tape is extremely hard to beat.
yeah that's a E46 spoiler, not a M3/M5. Honestly I couldn't tell the difference no way. But will that E46 spoiler reach across or at least position evenly on the trunk(centered I mean)? looks smooth though, exactly what I want. Flows with the body, smooth, not loud and very discreet.
Aye Bill, I wouldn't mind adding to my Regal collection. LOL
