    Hello,

Got in car and fan wasn't working on any setting. While driving I was screwing around with the knob because that's been the issue in the past (I've replaced that switch numerous times over the years). Knob was fine. As I am putting the knob back on while driving I went a little off the road and hit a bump. Fan starting working. Ummm... obviously I have a short somewhere. Any Suggestions as to where to look?

I suggest you start looking at the road.

But it got the fan working. LOL

Possibly the ignition switch. When it fails, the fan, auto on lights and other things can be affected.

If you do find that it is the ignition switch, you can replace it, but the problem will come back after time. Option #2 is the "Ignition Save Mod", which I did earlier this year, and everything works as it should.

I'd check the wiring at the blower motor too. Turn the fan on and if it's not working, move the harness a bit at the motor and see if it comes to life.

Thanks. The fans are in stock so I will wait to see if it happens again. Is so, I'll replace the fan and go from there. Thanks again
