Hello guys! I recently bought a 2000 Daytona 500 GP.
    Gen V supercharger
    3.5 Pulley
Pace Setter Headers (flex pipe leak, soon to be fixed)
    N* V8 Throttle Body

Aside from all that, I was wondering what could cause my Flex plate to crack? I ended up fixing it, put a buddies old flex plate in there, cars running and shifting fine.
But, what would cause that to break? And could it possibly happen again? I was stranded on a bad side of town, don't want that happening again, any suggestions?

One does not simply drive a quick GP without beatin it up a little, lol. But I was wondering more specifically what can cause a flex plate to just break?

most of the time it breaks after you beat the tar out of it, so my guess is you hammered the piss out of it and then clang clang clang.

So untrue. You know I beat the snot out of the Bonnie and that plate never broke. Meanwhile I broke a plate in an NA Regal. Jason said it well... you had a bad motor mount which cracked the plate based on how things happen.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
