Here's my deal, my exhaust pipes are pretty crooked and do not sit straight. The right pipe even sits further back than the left pipe.

    Left side (driver)

It clearly does not sit square within the bumper cutout, it is pulled to the right a bit.

    Right side (passenger)

And here you can even see the right side is pushed so far over it's starting to melt the bumper cutout.

So I looked underneath to see if I could try and pinpoint the issue. I found a number of things. First, the right exhaust pipe is barely on the exhaust hangers and it's shifted over to where it's clearly not in the right position.

    Right side

I attempted to push them further back, but it would not stay in place, it would just keep returning to the very edge of the hanger.

The left side looks more like it should.

    Left side

So earlier today I was looking around and noticed that the hanger right behind the Y-bend wasn't even attached, so I tried to attach it and was able to only get it that far.

It only made things worse as it pulled the entire rear end of the exhaust even more to the right.

This hanger is still in place like it should, as well as the donut ring thing for the U-bend.

So I have no idea what is wrong here. It's frustrating and looks terrible. It's like the entire exhaust end needs to be pulled to the left, but I don't know how to do that. The right side needs to be fixed the most. But any insight on this issue would be appreciated, as I'm stumped.

It's also worth noting that I pulled the muffler off the hangers on the right side and it slightly helped, but obviously I can't leave it like that.

Get that one donut on there.. then ... look at your pictures closer. I see some of the hangers are more worn than the others. yes.. look at the space in the center of the rubber hangers. Some have a huge space, some have a smaller space. Your hangers are worn. Cheap fix is to replace the hangers, another cheap fix is to put a hose clamp around the outside of the hanger and tighten it.. that'll tighten up the hanger.

Likely you don't have clamps or hangers laying around, so why buy both? The hole in your muffler suggests you need to do some maintenance.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

The hole in the muffler will stay, it actually makes the car sound good.

But at the matter at hand, the hangers that are stretched out are like that because they're being pulled to try and keep the mufflers level and straight, but something is all bent out of shape and preventing it from doing that. I can try doing something to firm them up more, but I don't understand why the right side sits further back then the left side. It's like it's missing something... But thanks for the suggestion, Bill.

And I do have that one donut on, the picture is kind of hard to see.

It's a bitter pill to swallow but id suggest going to a muffler shop and having a diagnostics done. It's hard for us to completely understand what's going on without laying or stainding underneath and actually looking at it. But it sounds like there are some brackets that are worn and from the pics it looks like they should be replaced. But without actually seeing it I wouldn't bet a dollar that it works. And without the proper experience you could be doing more harm than good. So if your not sure don't tug and pull on it. hope this helps and good luck to you mr subway guy.

Thanks for the tip. I've actually considered taking off the exhaust tips and bending them or clamping them to make them appear straight, but that might be a little tricky.

Remind me to make a video. Only the hole on the right side sounds good. The hole on the right sound makes it rattle and puff. But on the right side gives it a deep grumble.
