Well putting a new motor in my beater and used an impact to put the bolts back in for the flexplate, silly me! Snapped off 3 of them and fired up the ol Harbor Freight welder, cranked it up and welded it up. Should work fine.

Cus removing said snapped bolts and spending $3 in new bolts at any hardware store in town isnt worth the effort.

I would have personally drilled out the center of the bolts and then extracted them, or welded a nut to what's left of each bolt and turned them out.

However, what you've done should still work. From what I've read though, if you're using welded flexplate bolts you should hold the engine at WOT in neutral upon first start for approximately 15 minutes. That should seat the welds and help ensure maximum longevity.

Some part of what I just typed included sarcasm.
For thine is the Cam, The Piston, and The Rod, Forever and ever (or until they break). Amen.

Tried to extract with no luck at all. Was fed up with it at that point, 3 motor swaps in a row to get my beater on the road, i didn't care. Eventually I pulled this motor, it's going in a different car now
