I noticed the past few times I drove my GP there was lots of belt squeal.

The belts are relatively new. I examined and found them still in great condition. I examined the pulleys and found that the supercharger belt on the crank pulley is 1 rib off. It's weird. Not sure how this could happen. I'll reseat the belt but am wondering how this could happen. The belt is tight, does not seem loose.

Twice in 2 weeks the belt has slipped a rib and started squeaking again. I noticed that the tensioner does seem to move in weird positions. Like when I turn it to remove the tension it's not a straight up movement. I feels like the whole tensioner assembly is shot.

It looks like a torx nut holding the tensioner assembly on, and I probably stripped the hell out of it. Is this a torx nut or something else?

sc tensioner is held on with a 13 mm nut, use a 12 pt socket to fit inside the hole where you see the stud end.

id be looking at the two idler pulleys, if one of them has a play in it it could toss the belt.

I replaced the outside idler last year when it seized. I did not replace the second closer idler or tensioner.

Will take a closer look, thanks.

Replaced the tensioner assembly and smooth idler pulley, problem solved.
