I need tap into the accessory power as I need to power my dash cam and a USB charging port. Anybody know what pin or color wire is the accessory wire going to the OEM radio harness in a GP 2008 base model? Had a look at the wiring and normal it's red but no red wire. Either that or I connect it to the fuse box by using an add-a-fuse but if I go down this route I need know what fuse I can use that has power only when the key is in the ignition. Thanks

There isn't one per se. We have RAP or something something - Retained Accessory Power. It's why aftermarket radios need a GMOS interface to work right. Best bet is fuse box power but I don't know which one to use.

Pick a fuse that is ignition controlled.... RADIO. Get a mini-fuse and you have power.

    Thanks just ordered this https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B012WDS7QG/...103140_TE_dp_1

Will tap into the radio fuse which is 25amp, I see if I can rap into a 10amp instead.
