There are many threads about this so i'll keep it short and sweet. If you're stock, you will have some KR. Once you start modding, and specifically, once you drop pullies and start adding boost you want none. Like 0. That's the goal.
That being said I occasionally saw anywhere from 0-1.5* of KR before E85. Now i generally see values in the .89 and below range if at all. And my motor is still going strong. Each is different.

Even when modded to some extent, seeing 1º of knock is alright. That's not going to be enough at mid range power levels to cause damage, mid range being the standard 3.4 setup or around 10lbs of boost. The higher in power/boost you go the more that 1-2º of knock is more dangerous, then you'd better be more careful and hope you have closer to none. But it's still always possible to see ring butting or detonation and pop goes the ring land, then you have a junk motor.
