Has anyone else noticed on their 5-button trip computer, that when the temp gets to 33F or below on their outside temp gauge, the display switches back and forth between the temp, and the warning "ICE?" Just an interesting anecdote...

    Yup, they all do that.

It could be a sunny day with no snow or ice or anything on the ground and it will say watch for possible ice conditions in my truck.

It's just a feature now on nearly all newer vehicles, very annoying if you ask me.

My 03 with auto-dim rear view mirror, compass and outside tenp alternates between temp and "Ice" when it's around the freezing mark.

It's around the lines of most people don't know that the little arrow by you gas gauge tells you what side your door is on...it's embarrassing actually.
