Could someone point me in the right direction of the clips I need? My window regulator went in the rear so I need to take them off and have some that don't stay clipped so figure it's the perfect time to replace them. I'm just not sure what ones are the exact fit.

Thanks. I found those searching google but wanted to be sure before I ordered them and then had some more useless stuff sitting around.

    If you're working on a 97-03 GP...

On the left is an original clip. In the center is the new clips I bought at O'Reilly's (they sell paint stuff too) in bulk. On the right is an incorrect clip that works. Most clips you find new, like the ones on that link, are longer than stock. Only a few on the top row need to be trimmed. Some may contact the glass if not.

i read the reviews first and there was a few GP owners that said they worked so i bought em...just ain't tried em yet.

Verified Purchase After 2 speaker installs my car door panels were all barely hanging onto my 98 Pontiac Grand Prix.
I looked everywhere for these at the brick and mortar auto stores. I could only find 3 at time if they had them and they were expensive.
These fit the bill and I had enough to fully replace 2 front doors with extras to selectively replace worn clips on the rear doors.

I just noticed that break in the ridges same time you did, Dude. Came to the same conclusion too. Looks right to me. Might be a little harder to stab without the point, just be careful lining them up or carve a point. These hold ferociously like the stockers and might make 2-3 uses, in my experience. If I had to venture a guess what brand, it'd be Au-Ve-Co, but I don't know the manufacturer's name on these. I have seen some aftermarket versions that were too off-white and brittle. I have seen some that are bright white and too brittle. These are good as any I've seen.

I would get the OE gm ones. They are expensive but they pull the panel up the tightest and dont break. I tried a few brands and thought they all sucked. Good luck

Start by using the GM clips that I mentioned. While the panels are off use a soldering iron to touch up the plastic welds that hold the two plastic door panel pieces together. I hot glued more foam to my panels and also used dynamat. Take down your overhead counsel and do the same. Then start applying these ideas to the dash and center counsel. The dash has a bunch of screws that I am sure time has loosened. Once you get started you want to just keep going, but it is very time consuming.

Just a little update. I ended up going with the pins I've linked below. They're much longer but fit just fine. I didn't bother cutting them at all. The doors are really solid now and there's no play in them. Wasn't hard at all to switch them out for all 4 doors. After just doing the doors there's much less plastic rattling sound. I didn't realize how much the doors alone were contributing to that.

Bought those same ones awhile back. All the ones I replaced snapped. ALL the replacement ones. I won't buy them again. Good luck with yours.

The new ones you bought snapped? All mine seemed good and I haven't had a problem opening and closing doors yet. The plastic didn't seem old when using them either.
