Im talking about all mods. I have a 2008 grand prix base. Has the 3800 in it. Im a noob when it comes to parts. Id like to know what coils I should use to lower the car (pref 2 inches) and if a supercharger that will fit even exists. Maybe some information on engine chips and Airflow Sensors.

A 2008 model year, the base anyway cannot be modded much at all. There are minor things you can do like an intake, shift kit, front power log and maybe rockers but anything past that would require a tune but the 2008 cannot be tuned. The vehicle is a year only PCM that is far different than the 04-07 computers, they never made any software that can tune it.

So adding a supercharger or anything of that nature is out of the question.

Buy coilovers if you want to drop 2in, using drop springs isnt the way to go if you want to really drop it.

Some cars just aren't worth making what they weren't originally.

I wonder if you can just change to a 04 pcm and start modding from there

Nope, can't do that either. Unless you wish to gut the entire car, replace every single module and computer in it with something from an older model. PCM, BCM etc are all on a can bus system.

Read his website, he can't do them. Nobody can. The 2008 GXP uses a completely different computer, that one is able to be tuned.

I sense an opportunity to make money lol. If I could figure out how to tune '08 computers, I could make some good money. But I don't know how to make software and stuff.
