Question??? Y didn't the 04' regal gs come with the series 3 Gen5 motor but the 04' and later GTP did?

I know 04' was that last year for the regal(well for that style till the new style came out a few years ago) but at least they could've paid tribute with the series 3 Gen5 setup for its last year
Not your average grocery getter, but theres always at least two things on the list.... 10w-30 Castrol Titanium and Shell 91 premium mixed with a lil 100 octane racing gas......

Same reason they likely left the series 2 in the 04-05 impala ss and monte carlo ss, they body style never changed so they didn't feel the need to upgrade motors/options.

I believe they stuck with a series 2/gen3 combo, no reason to change it and only a limited number of regals made in that year
