Anyone have a link or write up on how to remove the dash?

I know there are going to be lots of hidden bolts so I would like to see some pictures of each piece coming off so I don't break anything.

Also, the metal cover underneath my steering wheel is tack welded on. Anyone else have this?

And I don't mean just the console, I need to remove the whole thing down to the firewall

Hard to miss, its on the 2nd page of the write up forum. Your welded piece is something that probably doesn't need to come apart, I don't know. This just shows taking the instrument panel carrier out.

The metal piece under the steering column is bolted in with 6 bolts I believe. There are 4 up in that piece, two you will see thru holes. The alarm system motion detector is also taped to that piece. It unplugs.
