Bone stock '06 Grand Prix GXP Currently out of service again after blowing Oil Pump Seal and dumping all the fluid it could on highway at 65-75mph. 4th clutches completely smoothed out... and radius of 4th clutch backing plate landing cracked on channel plate(case cover/worm plate/maze plate), whatever you want to call it. | P/N: 24245519(succ.) | 24234177 MN7 KB7 FR2? TapShift | | Cast#s 24224897 | 24229720 | Good luck finding a page that correlates the two.. I had to buy an alldataDiy sub to get part number, worth it, mechanic couldnt find a channel plate either way after 2 months, local Transtar gave me contacts to try and find. Linda is a nice lady. I found 1 used and 1 new in KY dealership, then I got alldata, and got part number and now I can find the TapShift channel plates everywhere. Anyways now Ill be taking transmission back and rebuilding myself. Message if you got 4t65e tools you want to sell. Looking for any history details possible. Sold and then re-bought in Virginia. Front lower turn signals were previously smoked/shadowed. Was serviced at Jim Jennings Transmission in DC area. Feels like its tuned, has eaten at least 4 transmissions...
