Has anybody had problems with the website being down randomly? It wouldn't let me on at all yesterday or the day before, and its been intermittent for a while now.

Its weird, i figured there would be a post about it if anybody else was experiencing these problems. I don't know if its my internet provider or what, but its annoying the he!l outta me. Seems like every other time I try to get on it doesn't want to work.

It's happen to me a couple of times, but nothing to the extent of what your saying. When it does it, I can usually restart my computer and jump right on.

Moved to the correct area. Got any error messages or screen shots of what you are seeing?

Yes, it's been happening for months. A page not found comes up. Say you type in some random site you know isn't real: www.fdajkl.com/ ... that page comes up. It's like this site doesn't exist at times...

Yea this is the first time i was able to get on since this morning, and not at all yesterday. it happens to me all the time. it is just like described, a page not found error message comes up. I try to check back every few hours, but its annoying if you are waiting for a message or PM.

Mine does it from time to time, and when it doesn't it sometimes lasts the entire day. Refreshing doesn't work, deleting cookies doesn't work, restarting the computer doesn't work, even using a different web browser doesn't work.

I will have to chime in here as well. I have had problems with the exact same thing. I never have gone a whole day without the site not working, but there have been times where I have had to hit the refresh button three or four times before the site appears.

Maybe its CGP's evil plan to keep us from coming here?

What would really help here is screen shots of what you are seeing when you cannot access the forums. Then, if you can, run a trace route to 'www.grandprixforums.net', 'www.tagpc.net'(local chapter here) and then maybe something like 'www.bransongpmeet.com' and post screen shots results of each.

This has been a tricky issue to run down and is going to require a bit more effort than the typical issue. So anything anyone can do with regards to the above information would be helpful in isolating the issue.

I would like to take a picture for you, unfortunately it will have to be someone else, i dont have a camera. For some reason the website has been working well today and yesterday. i take that as a good sign.

i have a lot of issues getting this site to work properly for me. mostly i get error messages that say the site cant be found and it redirects me to a search page..

its unfortunate, id like to visit here more often but sometimes i dont bother to check for days because of all the iddues it gives me. ill take screenshots next time and post the next time i can get on after that.

you can do a screen shot.. when it happens just push the print screen button located to the right of the F12 button at the top of the keyboard

    it looks like this

the next time you or anyone sees this can you run a trace route and post up a screen capture of the results?

To run a trace route, go to Start > Run. Type in CMD and the hit enter.

At the prompt type in tracert www.grandprixforums.net and hit enter

Once it has completed running do a screen capture, save the image and then post it up here. Do this anytime you see the error above and hopefully we can get this figured out.
