From the information there is i would guess possibly the fuel pump died or maybe it ran outta gas.
When you say loosing power do you mean it sputtered and chugged or did it just start slowing down so you had to keep giving it more and more gas like when you go up a really steep hill
If it's a 5 speed and you end up not fixing the car i'll buy your tranny.
Sputtered then went down hill from there, and when I pushed on the gas I did hardly anything. Still had all electrical power.
sounds like its not getting gas, or the cat clogged up real fast.
beat on the bottom of the gas tank, see if it fires up after that. if it does, the fuel pump is bad.
Ok so update if anyone is looking. I have checked spark and fuel it's getting all and I got it running but if I rev it high it seems like it want's to bog out like to much fuel, so how can a fuel injected engine be flooded out?
I can hear it run before I start it, but could that still be a problem, Even thoug it is running?
And thank you scotty reply I do love any info that could help.
And just so you all know just in case yes it's a "X, vin 3400" I feel dumb outtin it up but I just like to be as thorough as I can.
if it will idle. spray some carb cleaner at the vac lines.
is the check engine light on? if it is get it scanned at a parts store, its free. it will tell you whats wrong.
When was the last time the timing belt was changed?
