Other forums have it as a button on the bottom of the "new posts" page so they don't keep showing up every time you click "new posts".

Vinnie, if you look at the bar across the top, just below where the New Thread button is, on the right hand side. You'll see a link marked Forum Tools, click on the down arrow and it will have a clickable link that says "Mark This Forum Read". That affects only the section you are in.

If you go all the way down to the bottom just above the area titled "What's Going On?" you will see a clickable link that says "Mark Forums Read". Click on that and it will affect all the sections and show them as having been read.

    Hope that helps out.

It seems to be working....just a few more clicks.

What I was referring to was if when you came to the forum, read what you wanted to of the new posts, and wanted to mark them as read, there would be a button right below the last post. I'll get a pic of what I'm talking about.

It's not a big deal if we can't have it I just figured I'd bring it up because it's the easiest way to follow new posts.

Okay, I see what you are saying now. I'll have to defer to Chance on this one since he would be better able to answer whether or not that option is available.

under "quick links" in the bar at the top, there's a 'mark forums read' link. It's there no matter which page you're on. Is that sorta what you're looking for?

If it's all we got I can do that, there's the one at the bottom of the forum index too. I was just asking if there was a single click option like the Avalanche forum I posted.
