Not sure why, but my For Sale thread is gone. Was there a violation or something?

Am I understanding this right? You post your ad one time, then because its immediately locked, you can't bump it and have to wait for it to be deleted in a month before you can repost?

Ya one of mine got merged and I had now idea. Usually someone posts in the thread that merged them but whatever.

I don't like this one month and it's gone bs, that doesn't seem fair at all and it doesn't say if it's after a month of no posts or what. I don't want to have to repost every month if that's the case I'm just not going to bother.

And the posts being locked so everyone has to pm is the stupidest thing I've ever heard, your pm box will be full with the same questions from everyone!

Which one, you only had like 3 for alot of seperate things.

I may have deleted one, but I cant remember. Coulda been cause it was dead for over 1 month, but again I dont remember.

These new rules arent even finsihed yet and if you guys would open your eyes it doesnt start till Sept 15th and we have time to change it and things will be changed.

Other post is edited. Sure got people talking didn't I.

Well that was the goal, now we're on target to have a reasonable set of rules for the 15th.

Is there a thread for rule suggestions?

I like the location thing and it should be posted at the beginning of the thread, current pics is a good idea (if you can't figure out how to post a photobucket link I don't know that I trust you selling things to me lol), being deleted after a month of no activity or after everything is sold I don't have a problem with, it should be clear if shipping and PayPal fees are included or not.

You would think...he did not include a few pieces. I drove 16 hours round trip to get the parts. I was tired and did not really go through the large bin of parts. When I got home and started the install, it was obvious I was missing some parts (oil filter adapter, oil pan, motor mount bracket) When I informed him that he forgot parts he said he would ship them out. It's been two months and no parts have arrived. He doesn't answer texts or calls. This so called "complete kit" has forced me to spend more money for parts that were not included. Not to mention the POS aftermarket master cylinder he included leaked, so I had to buy a rebuild kit. I pulled the trans, replaced the slave cylinder, put the trans back in, and the damn thing leaked again. I tried going back to the stock fork, but i wasn't included, and it's not made by GM anymore. I was lucky enough to have a member on w-body forum that had a spare fork and associated parts. Now, I have to pull the trans again and hope this works.

Will the new rules allow someone creating a thread to bump it? Says gonna be locked.. wouldnt that prevent someone who created it to ensure it gets attention amongst the many threads?
