If I try to click Log Out, it says I am out and then as soon as I go back to the forum whether I click the link directing me to do so OR closing out the window and opening a new one it always says I am logged in! My wife was trying to sign up but cant because we cant get my name to log out no matter what we try, even through AOL, it doesnt matter. Any suggestions???? Thanks!

It worked fine for me.....click on logout, then it should pop up a message that says to go back or go to the forum home.....go to the forum home....you should be able to register there....Also when you login, it the remember me box it checked, everytime you come to the site it will automatically sign you in.

Delete your cookies and History. Also do you have your browser setup to automatically log you in with user name and pass. If so turn it off.

I cant unselect login every time.... because when I click on anything it says I am logged in, it wont let me re-login. If I delete cookies and history just to log out this one time does that mean when we want to switch names I will have to do this every time now? I will try deleting history and cookies and see what happens. Thanks guys!

I just tried logging out and logging back in by typing in my name... I guess I have too many passwords for every sight as I forgot mine and it told me I had to wait 15 minutes to try again as I ran out of chances to login! That would work if it let me log out, as I am on now without waiting the 15 minutes!

That is strange. Do you get the Internet explorer question asking if you want to log out or does that not come up either?

Yes this is DAVE....... Well Mrs Dave's new screenname lol. What a freaking nightmare! It blocked my IP address for 15 minutes and neither of us could log on! Then I changed something in the internet security so after either of us logged in it said we WERENT logged in! I cant win lol but I think I have everything straightened out finally! Thanks again guys

Mine does it too, just regular internet explorer. I had to clear my entire history just so Mystie could register here. I would click logout, but everytime she clicked to register it would say I was already logged in. Also, I do not use automatic passwords.

It saying your logged in after hitting logout and it giving your problems when tryihng to register a 2nd account are 2 things. Vbb does give greaf for having a 2nd account and you do need to clear cookies if you want to do so. Its even got a log in the back end just for us sepected users with 2 accounts.

What seems to work fine for us now is this..... I had to delete my internet history/cookies, then log in to the site NOT checking the "keep me logged in" box. Now either of us have to sign in every time, but its better than not being able to log out and switch names! In the midst of this last night I clicked on something in the internet security that would not allow updates from websites being viewed and it was preventing me from staying logged in, just the opposite! At least we have things figured out now, but it seemed that the only way to log out was indeed to clear the history/cookies and log back in
