I dont know if you can. But can you move the search to this spot? Just think it would work better.

Just a suggestion to make the search bar outline and the magnifying glass red instead of the grey it is. I find it hard to see and I had trouble finding it when the new site was updated.

That or make the section you type in white.

An easier to find option would be putting it on the bar with "new posts", etc. with a quick serch and advanced search dropdown.

I understand to use Google and most people do... but having the box sitting in outer orbit in the header doesn't make sense. I sware people on here could argue about if the internet was flat or round. lol
