This hasn't become a real problem yet, but I would like to suggest this to possibly prevent people from posting in the wrong forum sections.

I know that once you click on a certain forum section, there is a detailed description at the top that explains what the forum section is for... However, some people still don't see that and they post in the wrong sections.

A suggestion would be to have the description display once you scroll over the forum section.... (like when you scroll over threads in specific sections)

    For example:
If you scroll over 'the lounge' it would say "for all non car related discussion"
If you scroll over 'the soap box' it would say "want to rant? have a blog? here's your soapbox"
etc etc etc with all the forum sections

I believe this not only would help remind people which sections to post in, but it would also prevent a lot of threads to be forced to move which would equal less work for the administrators...

    Just an idea!

Although I'm not very familiar with forum layout and design... I did notice that on that same main page you can scroll over both the "speedometer symbol" and the "last post" and get a popup for info.

I'm guessing the creator (is it rocket (Chance)?) can do the same for the forum section title, so when you scroll over it a yellow box pops up with the section description...

Glad you like the idea, Scotty! I would really like to see this happen because I've noticed too many posts in wrong sections (I'm kind of an organization freak). I really think this would help a lot.
