Hello, I was thinking we could start a form called problem solved. This forum would have someone enter a PAST problem with their GP. Like the symptoms and how it was acting or codes that it was throwing. Finally they would say what was the problem and how they solved it that way the same issue would never be asked twice. Just a thought for the moderators.

Or when a troubleshooting thread is opened, the OP should post results and repairs when problem is solved in that thread. This way when we search we can find symptom and solutions in same thread.

I mean a forum where people will contribute one of there past problems and what it was. I think it would be better than tech tips IMO but hey I am just one guy

T would be more organized bc think about it...most the time people don't even know what the problem is. So if they stated in the subject main sypmtoms and a code (if they had one) and people would be able to relate to theat and look in that thread and see what was the issue and what was causing it right off the back instead of saying my car is making a hissing noise and everyone tring to guess what is the problem. Everyone could donate some issues they have had with their gp and before you know it we will have tons of problems solved without even making a new thread.

you have to first realize that people cant even properly name their threads. if people put some of the diagnosis in their thread title, more people would be prone to opening it. however, most people are like "rough idle", "car running poorly", or "omgwtfbbq my car blah blah blah".

we have to make people realize that no one cares to help when the thread title reads "HALP ME IM DUMZ".

I like this idea... how about another tab next to the how to tab called tech solutions... whenever a problem is solved it gets moved there with original symptoms and the solution.
