I like the green one with the gauges. After having this old one up all day for the 1 year anniversary, I like the green one even more. Though I like the GP's at the top, this skin is full of FAIL. Just my opinion of course.

Yeah, I was okay with this skin with the exception of it being so narrow, but then the green skin came along and I just loved that one. So we'll see what the one year anniversary brings.

Im diggin the new skin,but a skin doesnt make or break or the site....some like it some dont.The info will still be here for everyone to use.
One thing i suggest,its early and it may already be there and im just not seeing it.Is a link for chat somewhere on main page,instead of having to come back to page one of Synths post announcing that we have chat.

I'm here for the content, not to look at the banner graphics....you want to see a crappy forum look at the Suburban Forum. Talk about low-budget, some guy hosts it in his basement with members sending $1 PayPal donations, they don't even have sponsors.

I agree, I dont think its so much the graphics as it is the content. The way I see it, the graphics may get your attention to the point that you look around a little and see if the content lives up to what you see or if it could possibly be better.
A lot of people are referred here and so the graphics are not that big of a deal as they have been told by a friend, family member or something like that that this is a good place to be and so they come here with notions about the content, not the graphics.
I would much rather put my effort and energy into content first. Helpful information, growing a supportive community that gets the vision and goals and so on. If, after that there is something that can be put into the graphics and looks of the site, then so be it.
Our main goal here with the graphics was to give it a car site look and feel. We may have a little work yet to do, but I think we are getting there.

I LOVE the black background. I am cool with the green color, I am NOT FOND of the "New" guages on the side. I am all for changing the guages up top to 04+ guages. I have another question/idea Synthetic but I am going to ask you that off line....don't want to start another: "Wow that would be cool...do it , do it, and make you all feel pressured by everyone.

We tried at one point to get someone to take a good high resolution shot of the inside and dash area of an 04+ but never got any submissions from that.
