    Hey Chance,

Is there anyway we could get a private forum section page? Kinda like you had a long time ago on another message board you had, I believe it was called "Fire and Ice"?

The reason I ask, I made a dirty post the other day (It was properly tagged and all and it really wasn't bad compared to what i've seen on other forums. Infact I got the link from ClubGP!) and supposedly a few people complained and the link was removed. I figured why not have a private section forum kinda like a "Free For All" or "Other Topics" that you have to sign up for to enter in. If you don't sign up via admin, you don't get in period. If you don't wish to be a part of it, don't be, leave it to the others. I think it might be fun to have, and it could be more open to things and not all G rated. Being Gore, violence, whatever.

I personally hardly EVER post a dirty post, 99% of my posts are on topic, but time to time I'd like to share some things i find and not be worried about getting in trouble for something other forums accept. Know what I mean?

What does everyone else think? This is just a suggestion. I've never posted in this forum before so that must mean i've had no problems anywhere on this site.

BTW, i'll even throw this out there, if you need someone to watch over this forum or what not, I'll personally volenteer if need be. I don't care who watches it, but i figured i'd throw out that offer too.

Let me know, I think this idea needs to be explored, thanks...

I would like a "Sightings" section.... I see a lot of GPs around

For instance "I saw a Green GP going south on 270 last week near the New Market exit. I don't recall which day exactly. Your car had a painted SD hood. I was going North on 270 and I was driving a GP Daytona with a Black left fender (deer.)"

Or "I saw a red GP at the Exxon gas station in the Spring Ridge community in Frederick, MD. Your car had a nice exhaust and was debadged. I didn't want to bother you because you had other people in your car. I had the GP Daytona 500."

Nice idea, but lets keep this one fairly on topic please...

A private forum with no cry babies or whining and pretty much a free for all, what do you think? It could be fun...

I think its a great idea. Furthermore, I think donating users should have some say on decisions such as pulling a post which was clearly marked for its content. Kinda like shareholders in a company have a say in how the company is run. The internet is full of trash and if someone found that post offensive then its quite simple, read the warning, make a choice, either look or dont look. The mods have a tuff job but when it comes to this I would have told the complainers that if it offended them its quite simple, DONT LOOK! Read the warning.

Well I figure this private forum could have this or whatever else on it and only people allowed to very it are people who signed up. Otherwise, if you see something you don't like and start to *****, get the hell out, you shouldn't be in that forum anyway if you're gonna complain.

There would have to be a FEW restrictions too. Such as nothing racist, I don't go for that and hopefully others here don't go for that either. Theres always one bad apple who could ruin a potentially good thing, know what I mean?

Well I will have to agree that if you complain about a post that is clearly explained in the title then maybe you should not have looked.

But all of this aside I think the main problem is it clearly violates the forum rules.

Shawn, I think this is a very good approach to this idea you have. Shure we all want the forums to be a fun place to visit and hang out and all but that's what we have the lounge for. I think that by doing this it would be taking away from what the forum is actually here for. And we all should know what that is.

Personally I think that if you want to watch or veiw things that are not allowed on the forum that you should pick a forum that specializes in such a thing. Or even if you want to share those things with other people.

on one of the forums im on, after you get a certain ammount of posts, you are allowed to enter a special forum so you can talk **** about people that aren't allowed into said forum.

on another forum that i might mod on, we had a not work safe forum that we post the best porn we find on the internet. its a mod/admin only forum though.

All I can say is all the other forums I'm a member of have some type of special forum, or at least less restrictions on a certain part of the forum.

Lets face it guys, some of us get to know each other pretty well, being here on the boards, via PM, E-mail, or even in person. I donno about you guys but with my friends, we BS alot and have fun. Sometimes we even pass "dirty" chain e-mails to each other. Its all in good fun. 99% of you know what i'm talking about and do exactly what I just said... Why not have a board we can do the same stuff in with people we get along with? Makes perfect sense to me.

As for just going out and joining another board altogether about the subject matter we want to BS about (I'll give an example: bouncing boobs.), why join a porno site to see that once in a great while? I donno about most of you, but I don't go to porno sites on my free time. Why would I start now? Makes no sense. If we had a free for all board, there would be no problems. Most of us are adult enough to determine whats proper to post and what is not. Most of us aren't little kids, lets get real here. This ain't seseme street (however you spell that!), this is the real world.

I think the majority are in favor of this idea, come on Admins, lets make this happen, its not a huge request I don't think...

Yes......I think it's a good idea, I don't want to post a long reply but yes it needs consideration......IDK.... charge a fee, a small donation for access? but then it wouldn't be a free forum, I would be up for that and it would help the forum defray costs.
    Yes, No, Maybe?

Good luck trying to get this through, I agree 100% but don't believe that it will be accepted or even a second look taken. For this reason only; it is supposed to be a "child friendly environment" but I see no children here, and don't see anyone who has the guts to say things out loud where people can see them and ask why. Starting hate the censorship more and more.

Lets lay some groundwork or possible routes we can go with this, becuase i would love to see this happen, frankly i spend a few minutes on this site and just click "new posts" and then im done on this site after looking at a few of them. Then i go to clubgp and there is some great stuff in there, as long as you skip over the real arrogant and senseless posts.

    1. For starters, i like the idea of donating say $10 and those people are able to see this private section of the forum. Not only would you make $300-500+ doing this, it would ensure that the users are old enough to donate money to a site, they are old enough or responsible enough for this content.

    2. You could also make the section unlockable by requesting access from one of the administrators, just like the DHP forums. This would make the section totally optional for people and can even be kept more private, eliminating people complaining of the content that they don't wish to see.

    3. You could go by the members status or posts to gain access to this part of the forum. Members with over 500 posts without being banned from the site want to keep it that way, giving them some room to breathe would be a nice reward.

This is a car enthusiast site, come on!!! I just want to be able to vent a little or see some boobies every now and then when Im on a site that the guy/girl ratio is at 100 to 1.

well to be honest not many kids would be on the site anyway? kinda for people with gp's. well most people with cars are at least 16. you only gotta be 17 to go to R movies. but say this idea gets picked up maybe have a page pop up first accepting the next page might contain adult material.
