Updated. Car is no longer for sale

The 2007 GXP with 37,000 miles I was looking to buy was in pretty bad shape for the miles. Flooded trunk, dealer said the tires would not be safe to drive on, seats were stained, dents in body. Didn't even start it up. Dealer said it would be detailed and ready to go upon my arrival. It wasn't touched when I got there at noon, trunk looked like the car was pulled from a river. Salesman said we can clean up the water with a wet vac! Too funny.
Beware of any midnite blue GXP's in the Baltimore area.

    Not exactly

There's a few things you can do to prolong the life of one.. It's the same damn tranny that all of us have anyways.. Guess wht if it has problems you rebuild it and add a few harden parts #missionaccomplished.

Shift kit + trans cooler will go a long way with the GXP.

Are trans coolers expensive? What's a shift kit? I always liked gxp's but I heard they had so many tranny issues because of all the power they make. I was scared to buy one.

Trans coolers range from $40-120 from what i've seen. Shift kit makes your car shift in between gears faster which reduces slipping.

Transgo shift kit is less than 50 bucks on Amazon.

Both are pretty easy to install if you have basic tools/knowledge. Both have write ups floating around somewhere as well.
