nevermind doubt its still for sale... just looked at when it was posted
I've seen the car in Pensacola, drove out 2 weeks ago. The pics are it's friend. Total POS. Miles are good, everything else is crap. I've seen most all those posted, but thanks for looking out. The hunt continues. No hurry...
I've got one with 80k miles for sale....It's sat for about 6 months. I bought a brand new car and lost interest in building this one up. It already has tons of repairs. I'm located in TN. The only issues are cosmetic and I can include pictures. There's no rust and no accidents, however it will need tires. If you'd like I can set up pictures and an add. I'm asking way below what everyone else is asking because I simply don't want it to degrade to the point of needing repairs again and not many people want a car that's a late model. I'm not sure what I'd ask, however it'd be a lot lower than 6k and under 5k....
A Florida car is the way to go. Here are my Rockers on my 00 GTP that spent 13 years in Florida. You know I parked in the garage last winter with all the snow and salt we get in MI. A bit muddy since I live on a dirt road but free of rust.
That's what the underside of my black car looked like, spent 98% of its life in Phoenix Arizona.
Hey 02 WS6 TA, Did you ever hear of a website called "Cars.com"? I've spent 5 minutes doing a search for low miles, all stock model year 2000 to 2003 GP's within 500 miles of where I live and found 10 or so with less than 50,000 miles.
You need to do the same search using Cars.com, and enter the zip code of where you live. And also try Autotrader.com.
I have people asking me all the time that they would like to buy a low mileage GP in model years '00 to '03, and I have led them to this site. It is up to them to do the leg work to research the car and contact the dealership. Most of these GP's sold on that website are at used car dealerships.
IN the past 6 years, I have purchased 2 GP's with very low miles, one with 2000 total miles and one with 31,000 total miles. I was very glad that I found these.
You have a big advantage because most cars in the south are not rusted out from the salt.

Thanks for the tips guys, the search is off. Said hell with it, bought a GTO.
Too bad you hate the taillights so much...
Something funnai, FFDP?
Hope you enjoy replacing suspension parts.. The trip over from Australia was hard on an already pissy suspension.. Ask me how I know.. Lol

I'll upgrade to poly once and be done. This isn't my first rodeo.
Hey wasn't trying to offend.. Keep an eye out for the center support bearing in driveshaft. And the end caps on radiator are prone to leaking.. Also the ignition cylinder is another big problem..

I know these things, and more. I think I'll be alright. Thanks for your concern.
