Ok I found the car I want to buy so I need to get a feel for what I can sell my car for. If I can get what I want then I can let her go and go buy the car I found. Just want this one to go to a good home..

This car is super clean. See pictures in my profile, everything works great. 98, 000 miles. I have put a lot of money in this car to make it run prestine. I also have the original chrome torques stars that will go with it. But the tires are shot. Ig you dont want these wheels i would take them off and save you money.. The wheels and tires I have on the car are still in great shape.

The strut towers are fine and yes there is some rust on the rockers but you can not see it with the ground effects.

    leather
    tinted windows, 35%
replaced UIM/LIM gaskets, rings hoses, belts...tuned up..
    air conditioning works great
    new battery,2013
runs great, paint shines like new..(some minor dings from hail, but not bad)

The only thing i think it needs in the future is some struts, coolant flush.

email me if interested and I can send more pictures

Honestly? Way too high of a price for a stock GT that has rocker rust, needs struts and a coolant flush. That price would be hard to fetch for one that is a mint special edition GT let alone a regular GT that needs a little work.

I agree, but it was a starting point. I also want to be upfront. You will see posts by me for at least a year that talksabout the struts... but you can probably go without them. Either way if someone is interested shoot me an offer..

Your going to have to post pics in the actual thread and also show why you think the car is worth almost 5 grand in your opinion. That's kinda high for a gt, even a 97–03 gtp for 5k is insane. Either way Glws.

What belts do you speak of? With what you spoke of in your ad, i'd venture to say you better drop the price to $3500. Hail damage and rust?? Nobody is going to pay what you are asking for what the car is. Sorry to rain on you parade........

There's maybe 3 or 4 dings from the hail barely noticable unless your looking for them. The car is 13 years old. I have been keeping it prestine and treating any area that comes up

The belt in the engine.. the engine runs flawlessly...

All 3800's will run flawlessly regardless of mileage if properly maintained. There have been some that reach the 300,000+ miles range.

If it was a pristine gtp I could see around $4500. But for a gt with rust starting you're looking at more like $2500. These cars are not worth much nowadays, regardless of book value. GLWS.

I guess this thread can get locked... I decided to keep the car a few more months... putting $900.00 more back into it.. new tires on my 18" rims, full alignment with camber bolts and a coolant flush..

    Struts are still good....

Resurrecting this thread... I am finally taking the plunge. My nephew wants to buy the car but i don't want to give it away..
so whats a good price? I know your all probably going to say 2500.. or something.. but really... I put alot of work into this car to keep it "factory running"

NADA has me at $4500 and KBB has me at $3900.00 for retail.. I don't know if the chicago market is higher or what..,

    105k miles
